We are REALTORS® representing buyers and sellers of California real estate.
We typically represent only one client at a time. Our Realtors will represent no more than two clients simultaneously. Additionally, the other thing that makes us unique is that we never represent both sides of a transaction. Meaning we negotiate for only you, not the buyer and seller of the same property. It is imperative that we provide exceptional service, leaving you feel cared for and like you were our main focus.

Who we are:
Real Estate, One Person At a Time! We are dedicated to one-to-one service, guiding people through the process of real estate selling and buying in California. That means we represent ONE BUYER and ONE SELLER at a time and NEVER “BOTH SIDES” of a transaction.
We are licensed by the California Department of Real Estate as a Broker for the entire state. Our agents are REALTORS®, choosing to adhere to a higher ethical standard than the state requires, by joining the National Association of REALTORS® and pledging to abide by the higher ethics and rules of the National, State, and Local Association.
Denise Collette-Briez Shur, our Broker of Record, is a French-American born and raised in Redondo Beach, California. She resides in San Jose, California, with her Russian husband, Mike Shur (The Assessment Specialist in the OD and Training realm).

We cover the entire state, whether you’re a seller or buyer of homes, land, commercial buildings, or businesses, we are ready for you. For those of you interested in investment property outside of California whom do not already have a favorite, trusted real estate professional to assist you, we will personally refer you to our preferred experts. The same is true when you are looking for top-notch craftsmen, contractors, professionals, and services relating to your real estate investments.
Why we do it:
This why we started our real estate firm: Our broker experienced the real estate industry from your perspective when she bought her first property and then again when she sold her first property. She didn’t like how it was done and felt she had not experienced truly being cared for and being looked after during her transactions. Those experiences paired with her being born with a love of architecture, a natural proclivity toward color, design, and texture, and an innate sense of quality customer service is what led to the existence of 1:1 REALTY.
At the most, we represent only one buyer and one seller at a time because want to deliver our best service to you. We focus on each client. The office was founded with the belief that our daily workload should be fulfilling, provide growth, allow balance for a personal life, and always be win-win for our clients and us. We enjoy working that way and we deliver our best to you that way.
Each REALTOR® at this office accepts the maximum of one buyer client and one separate seller client at a time. For example, if you are our client selling your home and a buyer approaches us asking us to represent him/her in buying your home, we won’t represent that buyer. Instead, we will gladly and swiftly refer that buyer to a qualified REALTOR® who is not already representing you.
The California Department of Real Estate (DRE) allows real estate professionals to represent multiple clients and even represent both the buyer and seller of a property, simultaneously. For example, if you enlist a real estate agent to sell your property, by law, he or she can also represent a buyer to purchase your house. When that happens your agent is negotiating to get you top dollar for your property, while, at the same time, is negotiating for the buyer to purchase your property for as little money as possible. It is absolutely legal and happens regularly.
However, that does not work for us; our experience is that we find it impossible to negotiate the highest sale price for one client while simultaneously trying to get the lowest price for another client. Experience has taught us that we do our best work by representing only one side of the transaction; either the buyer or the seller, not both. Ready to act? Choose us!
